TAYLOR SWIFT

biography
"Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter. Her narrative songwriting, which often centers around her personal life, has received widespread media coverage. Born in West Reading, Pennsylvania, Swift relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in 2004 to pursue a career in country music. At age 14, she became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house, and at age 15, she signed her first record deal. Her 2006 eponymous debut studio album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s on the Billboard 200. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Swift's breakthrough second studio album, Fearless (2008), won four Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, and was certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America. It yielded the crossover hit singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me".
Swift's third studio album, Speak Now (2010), spawned the two-time Grammy Award-winning single "Mean". Her cross-genre fourth studio album, Red (2012), earned Swift her first Billboard Hot 100 number-one single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together". Swift fully transitioned to pop music on her next studio album, 1989 (2014), which made her the first solo female artist to win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year twice. The album included three Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles, "Shake It Off", "Blank Space", and "Bad Blood". Preceded by her fifth U.S. number-one single "Look What You Made Me Do", Swift's hip hop-inspired sixth studio album, Reputation (2017), made her the first artist to have four albums each sell over one million copies in their opening week in the U.S. Its follow-up, Lover (2019), was the world's best-selling studio album of 2019. Swift eschewed pop for indie folk and alternative rock on her eighth studio album, Folklore (2020). The album and its lead single, "Cardigan", made Swift the first artist to have an album and a single debut at number one on the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 simultaneously.
Having sold over 50 million albums and 150 million singles worldwide, Swift is one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Her accolades include ten Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award, and seven Guinness World Records; she is the most-awarded act and woman at the American Music Awards (29 wins) and Billboard Music Awards (23 wins), respectively. She has been included in multiple power rankings, such as Time's annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world (2010, 2015 and 2019), Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time (2015), the Forbes Celebrity 100 (placing first in 2016 and 2019), and Billboard's Greatest of All Time Artists Chart (placing eighth). She was named Woman of the Decade (2010s) by Billboard and the Artist of the Decade (2010s) by the American Music Awards."
Along with being a very successful female artist, Swift has worked very hard at supporting not only her fans but discriminated groups as well. She has made many donations to known LGBTQ+ organizations and black owned businesses. She has spoken up for the good of the people to politicians, having created the Equality Act. Swift has also dedicated her time to helping lesser known artists in keeping their rights on not only their music but also being paid for said creations.
Taylor Swift is a prominent figure in the global music industry. Her humility and fierceness has drawn in fans from all over the world. Her catalogue of songs and plethora of strong motifs keep fans interested and excited for her new pieces. While being a lead figure in the industry, Swift has been able to hold her own and stand among the most remembered and honored artists, supported by Billboard's "Greatest Artists of All Time chart where Swift places 8th out of 10.

Jung Hoseok

At the same time, "Airplane" (5th), "Base Line" (7th), and "P.O.P. (Piece of Peace)" (12th) enter the charts. With his number 1, Hoseok becomes 1 of 10 Korean groups (BTS also being one of them) to reach number 1. Hope World ends up ranked at 5th on Billboard magazine's year-end World Albums Chart.
His next released project is "Chicken Noodle Soup," a free collaboration with Becky G. After being released on September 27, 2019, it debuts at 81st on the Billboard Hot 100. He becomes the first member of BTS to chart on the Hot 100 as a solo artist. "Chicken Noodle Soup" debuts at 1st on the World Digital Songs chart, his second song to do so after "Daydream".
Jung Hoseok is a prominent figure in BTS's songwriting crew. With the bandmates and rappers, Min Yoongi and Kim Namjoon, Hoseok conveys downhearted messages that are cleverly disguised with bright and upbeat melodies. The song was used in Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, a project that Taehyung was also apart of as an actor. Along with working with Taehyung, Seokjin has worked with youngest bandmate Jungkook on an alternate version of "So Far Away". This song can be found on Yoongi's solo album, Agust D.
On June 4, 2019, Seokjin's solo song is released on Soundcloud. "Tonight", is part of the 2019 Festa content. Seokjin is credited for composing the ballad with Big Hit Ent. producers, Slow Rabbit and Hiss Noise. He is also credited for co-writing the lyrics along with bandmate RM (Kim Namjoon). Seokjin has created a few cover tracks and has released them on Soundcloud. He has covered "Mom" by Ra.D, "I Love You" by Mate, and "In Front of the Post Office" by Yoon Do-Hyun.
Kim Seokjin is the oldest member of BTS. With this position comes the responsibility of taking care of the members. While this can lead to the idea that he is uptight, Seokjin is the complete opposite. His positive demeanor and "dad jokes" keep the members happy and energized. His soothing vocals have become a staple point in BTS's discography, being able to carry strong messages that are written in the lyrics and bringing comfort to anyone who listens.
